Maria Santigate is known for showing up with tenacity and is always prepared to get the job done with top notch professionalism.

After graduating with an MBA from Adelphi University, Maria began a 20+ year career in the shopping center industry. Rising to Senior Vice President of a Real Estate Investment Trust, she participated in the management, leasing, acquisition and development of several large-scale retail, community/neighborhood retail and mixed use properties throughout the United States. Her ability to navigate the various municipal processes in remote towns to very populated cities, working with attorneys, architects, town and county governments gave her exceptional and incomparable experience.

Growing up in Nassau County gave Maria and her husband the opportunity to purchase, renovate, and rent homes there as well as managing condominiums in West Palm Beach, Florida. Serving as a condo board member for many years gave Maria a clear understanding of the ins and outs of buying, selling and living in a gated community. In 1993, they purchased their first home on the North Fork and enjoyed many years with family and friends as weekenders. They continued to buy properties building experience in every aspect of the business of real estate.

Having the good fortune of being minutes away from the Bay and the Long Island Sound is a dream come true. Maria moved to Mattituck permanently 6 years ago and truly loves living on the East End. Come Spring, Summer, and Fall, Maria can be seen driving her 1965 Corvette Convertible enjoying the view or sitting on her dock with her pups. She also enjoys participating in the community and serves as a board member for St, John Paul II Regional School.
